Today is the shortest day and takes Team Auditel into Paris via Versailles (the Sun King’s grandiose palace, where the grounds are free to cyclists), through the Parc de St Cloud and by the aqueduct over the Seine (built by Gustave Eiffel). Finally they travel from the Bois de Boulogne to the Eiffel Tower. Total mileage today approx 26 miles
